Eridadi Tuwangye has a passion for disadvantaged children and youth. In 1987, he co-founded Mothercare Preparatory School that provides rural children access to quality education. The school is recognized as a hub of education innovations which educate, equip and empower children. It is one of the first schools in Uganda to introduce computer skills and to pioneer teaching of French and Kiswahili right from primary one to seven. The 3EzSeries writers use the school to experiment innovative teaching and learning pedagogy. The school has won several academic and co-curricular awards and has greatly contributed towards improving performance of schools in Kasese District in the annual National Primary Leaving Examinations.Eridadi coaches and mentors education practitioners to use child rights based methodology and create child-friendly learning environments. He promotes use of library resource provisions to encourage children to read and learn more on their own.

Earlier, Eridadi held several education management and administration leadership positions in education institutions, Ministry of Education and NGO projects. One of his outstanding successes is the Mubende Integrated Teacher Education Program ─a non-formal education project which provided 110,300 disadvantaged out of school children and youth access to education and simultaneous training of 800 teachers using context appropriate flexible learning on-the-job distance education strategy. His curriculum development work includes co-authoring the National Social Studies syllabus for Primary Schools and Teacher Education Colleges, Distance Education Professional Studies Modules, and a teachers’ guide for teaching of reading Runyankore-Rukiga language. This wealth of experience enriches the 3EzSeries team effort in developing local-content-rich and appropriate reading resources for children and other young people.

He is an alumni of Southampton University, UK and Kyambogo University, Uganda.
